Why do I need to provide ID to use your services?
Providing Proof of ID and Proof of Address is a strict legal requirement under the UK Anti Money Laundering (AML) Regulations and Companies House ACSP requirements. We use our approved partner, TrustID, to collect and process this securely. We cannot activate your service or forward any mail until this process is completed.
What are your mail and parcel forwarding fees?
Our forwarding fees are transparent and depend on the method you choose:
- Post: Charged at the Royal Mail rate x 2 (plus any packaging). A minimum charge of the Royal Mail 100g Large Letter Price x 2 applies.
- Scan & Email: 25p + VAT per side of paper. Manual scanning (e.g., bound documents) is 50p per side.
- Courier: If we arrange it, we charge £25.00 on top of the courier fee. If you pre-pay/book your own, we charge a £12.50 handling fee.
- Collection: £2.50 per item handled if collected in person.
How do I pay for mail forwarding?
We do not give credit for forwarding mail. The forwarding costs need to be paid in advance before the item is sent. You can place a Mail Scanning or Forwarding Deposit (e.g., £10, £20, £50, or £100) on your account, which we will draw from as we process your post.
Can I use the Business Mail Address on Companies House?
No. Standard Business Mail and Parcel Forwarding services cannot be used as a Company Registered Office or a Directors Service Address on Companies House. If you need an official address for Companies House, you must purchase our specific Registered Office Service or Directors Service Address facility.
What is considered "Statutory Mail" and is it free to forward?
Statutory mail refers strictly to official letters sent by HMRC and Companies House addressed to the Company or the Company Director. If you have purchased a Registered Office or Directors Service Address facility, we will scan and email this specific statutory mail to you completely free of charge. If you request it to be physically posted, standard postage fees will apply.
Can you handle large parcels?
Yes, but we require 24 hours' notice for any large letter or parcel exceeding 1000mm in any direction. Please email our customer service team as soon as you know the delivery details. We cannot normally accept anything that exceeds 2 meters in any dimension or anything over 25kg in weight. Storage fees of £10 per day apply to large parcels not forwarded within 24 hours.
Can I use the service for multiple names or businesses?
Our base services are priced for one name (one individual or one company name) per mailbox. If you wish to use the service for multiple names, you can easily purchase an "Additional Name" add-on for a small extra fee (typically around £20-£29 per extra name).
